The Rough Rider is the official publication of Roosevelt High School in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. Roosevelt High School is a comprehensive high school located in Local District 5 of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Rough Rider is a student-run publication of the Journalism class, which meets Monday through Friday during 5th period in R313. Mr. Ben Gertner, a C-Track English teacher, is the adviser for the newspaper. All general comments should be addressed to him at bjg2428 [at] lausd.net.
